The Ombudsman Program

• is an independent organization led by Judge Stanley Sporkin (Ret.), who reports directly to Lamar McKay, Chairman and President of BP America

  
  

• is dedicated to resolving safety and other work environment concerns in a timely manner

  
  

• is confidential and anonymous to the fullest extent possible

  
  

• is consistent with the needs of the individual or individuals who raise concerns

  
  

• is aligned with BP's core values and BP's Code of Conduct

  
  

• is exclusive to the United States and is an important additional avenue for workers to see resolution to their concerns

  
  

• is prepared to take immediate action if a concern presents an imminent safety risk, is a violation of the law or Code of Conduct

  
  

• is staffed with subject matter experts and employee concerns investigators who use proven techniques that never invade privacy or violate the law.
