Sporkin Meets with Socially Responsible Investor Group

In late August 2007 Judge Stanley Sporkin (Ret.) met with members of the non-profit organization Ceres, which is involved in advising socially responsible investors. The Ceres Board Director, Mindy Lubber, her key staff and a member of the organization were present to discuss the role of the Ombudsman at BP America. The Judge briefed the Ceres Board on the purpose of the program, activities and investigations that marked the first year of operation of the program, and the future of the BP program and Ombudsman programs in general.
